Connected software and retail platforms

Leza provides MplusKASSA to fashion retailers, thereby combining cash register software, inventory management, and various retail integrations. For stores that work with many brands, sizes, colors, and new collections, the connection between Leza – MplusKASSA and Latest Collection can significantly reduce the manual inventory management process. Available product data from fashion brands can be searched for, checked, and then sent to MplusKASSA.

Fashion stock requires more than a standard cash register system

Fashion retail has a different article structure than many other forms of retail. For example, one sweater can consist of multiple colors and multiple sizes, each with its own EAN code. This is complemented by article descriptions, prices, product images, supplier codes, and seasonal information.

With a new collection, the number of item variants quickly increases. When all that data has to be manually entered into the cash register system, a lot of input and control work is created with every delivery.

Leza uses MplusKASSA, among other things, for clothing stores and other fashion retailers. By combining Leza – MplusKASSA with the product data from Latest Collection, available item information can be used earlier in the process.

Leza – MplusKASSA and Latest Collection

Leza is a reseller of MplusKASSA. The product data connection works between Latest Collection and MplusKASSA. Leza provides and supports the MplusKASSA environment for the retailer.

Latest Collection centralizes available item data from fashion brands. This includes EAN codes, sizes, colors, item information, price information, and product images. Which data is available varies per brand.

The retailer then uses the special Latest Collection environment for MplusKASSA to search for or scan items. The available data can be checked and then sent to MplusKASSA.

Leza provides the MplusKASSA environment to the retailer. Latest Collection provides the available fashion data for use within the linked MplusKASSA environment.

How does the connection work in practice?

The process begins when a new collection arrives. Instead of creating each item manually, the retailer can first check if the relevant product data is available within Latest Collection.

1. Open Latest Collection for MplusKASSA

The retailer opens the linked Latest Collection environment intended for MplusKASSA.

2. Find the article or scan the barcode

The article can be searched for or found using the EAN code. When the brand has provided the relevant data, the available product information appears.

3. Check the product information

The retailer examines the available item information, sizes, colors, prices, and product images. The store itself decides which information is used and which selling price is applied.

4. Send the item to MplusKASSA

After checking, the selected item can be sent to MplusKASSA. The item is then entered into the cash register system with the available data from Latest Collection.

5. Continue working from MplusKASSA

From that moment on, the retailer continues to operate using MplusKASSA. Inventory, sales, and other store processes are further managed there.

What product information is available?

Latest Collection collects product information from fashion brands in the fields of fashion, shoes, sports and lingerie, among others. The data available varies per brand and collection.

  • Article number and article description
  • EAN and barcodes
  • Sizes
  • Colors
  • Price information
  • Product images
  • Article groups and additional product features

The link can only use data that has been made available by the relevant brand. Therefore, it is advisable to first check which brands and which information are available within Latest Collection.

MplusKASSA Fashion for sizes, colors and collections

With MplusKASSA, Leza also targets fashion retailers that work with a large number of product variants. In a clothing store, for example, one model is often available in multiple sizes and colors, each with its own inventory and often a unique barcode.

This aligns with the product data from Latest Collection. When sizes, colors, and EAN codes are already available in the brand data provided, the retailer does not have to completely re-build that basic information themselves.

With Leza – MplusKASSA, the retailer can manage its article, inventory and sales processes from a single retail environment, using available fashion data from Latest Collection.

Leza also describes possibilities for stock scanning via MplusKASSA and connections with webshops. This way, the same article structure can be used within different parts of the retail process.

More information about this solution can be found on the MplusKASSA-pagina voor kledingwinkels van Leza.
